Bulfinch Triangle District of Boston City Proper Drainage and Water Works Improvements for Installation of New Storm Drains, Sewers, and Water Main

The scope of the project included the installation of approximately 6,100 linear feet of ductile iron cement-lined (DICL) pipe for the water main; 5,759 linear feet of 12-inch to 48-inch reinforced concrete pipe, ductile-iron pipe, and PVC pipe for sewer and storm drain; and 1,800 linear feet of a minor drain. The rehabilitation of 1,550 linear feet of combined sewer pipes was incorporated. Approximately 35 manholes, 1 special manhole, 6 catch basins and 1 drop inlet were furnished and set, and 18 hydrants and 60 water valves were set or reset.
